Epsom salts baths or foot baths are very cleansing, detoxing and relaxing, helping to ease aches and pains. For a strong detoxifying treatment, dissolve ½ lb or about 250grams in a hot bath and soak for a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes. Dry yourself and get into a warm bed (with a hot water bottle if necessary) this will further aid the detoxifying process by encouraging perspiration and make sure you replace your fluid loss. Do this once a week, if you don’t have a bath tub, a foot bath with Epsom salt works well too.
Epsom salt is actually magnesium sulphate, the body (especially the feet) soak up the magnesium it needs to encourage the detoxifying process. Also aiding in repair.
