There is a connection between Allergies and Arthritis

We use the word allergy but it is more like an intolerance. More and more evidence is showing what we eat and how we live has a huge bearing on our quality of life.

It was discovered some years ago that if you put patients with rheumatoid arthritis on a fast they improved dramatically. After three months on a gluten-free lacto-vegetarian diet, the group improved in all areas – white blood cell count, joint tenderness, joint stiffness, pain in general, and grip strength.

An elimination diet – and a journal really help to establish what things are making you worst and what makes the conditioner better.

In other words eats fruits and vegetables

All herbs

Ginger

Plenty of water

Now with your journal ready – try one new food and wait 24 to 48 hours so see if there is a reaction.

One by one introduce the more healthy foods – like fish, raw nuts, yogurt, seeds, quinoa, millet, oats, beans, lentils, etc.

Many people have found this very helpful -  reducing pain and inflammation.
