Wonderful aromatic tea, a drink traditionally found in India and Nepal.
Place three mugs full of water or 50:50 water and rice milk or oat milk into a pan. Add a few crushed cardamom pods, whole cloves, cinnamon bark or powdered, and a few slices of fresh ginger. Bring to a boil gradually, simmer for a short while, then remove from the heat and add some green tea, allow it to steep for a couple of minutes. Try not to sweeten with anything. Only if you have to sweeten your tea add a little Stevia (easy to find in most supermarkets).
Rheumatoid Arthritis is a systemic inflammatory disease, which means this disease is throughout the body and not just with the joints. The joints do suffer inflammation but not degeneration. In rheumatoid arthritis there is inflammation in the tissue that surrounds and lines the joint and this inflammation causes stiffness, pain and swelling (fluid build up). People with rheumatoid arthritis have much more stiffness in their joints than somebody with osteoarthritis.
On awakening stiffness can last for about 2 hours after getting up.
FELDENKRAIS METHOD“Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself” — Moshe Feldenkrais. The Feldenkrais Method is recognised for its demonstrated ability to improve posture, flexibility, coordination, self-image and to alleviate muscular tension and pain. The effectiveness of the Feldenkrais Method is in its ability to access the nervous system’s own innate processes to change and refine functioning. Feldenkrais is based on principles of physics, biomechanics and a complete understanding of human development. As a form of somatic education, the Feldenkrais Method uses gentle movement and directed attention to improve movement and enhance human functioning. This allows increased ease and range of motion, improved flexibility and coordination, and a re-discovery of efficient, graceful movement.
Since ancient times, the Chinese have written about healing therapies to the hands. I am sure you have all seen the Chinese Shou-xing balls. This idea was created five hundred years ago during the Ming Dynasty, Shou-xing means Balls of Eternal Health. The Emperor’s physician had advised him that in order to treat his failing health he would need to exercise all his vital organs and at the same time reduce his hypertension. Hence the Balls of External Health were made. Since then generation after generation has benefited from the practice. How do they work?
Our liver is underrated, over worked and taken for granted. Yet this organ serves several very important functions, not least detoxification. However, there’s a limit to what the liver can take on a daily basis year after year. Especially these days of ever increasing demands from foods and drinks that contains unnatural substances in ever increasing quantities. This continual bombardment eventually causes the organ to struggle. A struggling liver can contribute to all sorts of conditions like arthritis and over the longer period you might end up with conditions like cirrhosis or hepatitis to varying degrees.
Give your liver a break, take the load off by reducing the amount of artificial substances that give your liver an extra work load, as these substances are difficult to break down and take up extra resources.

1) Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate) in a hot bath or if you don’t have a bathtub then a foot bath is excellent alternative. The magnesium is absorbed by through the skin and the feet are highly absorbent. Magnesium is sadly lacking in the average diet these day so people are generally deficient. Magnesium has anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties helping greatly to relieve suffering. Put two cups of Epsom salt in the bathtub or one cup in a foot bath with hot water and soak your feet for 30 minutes, topping up with hot water if you need to. If you have heart or kidney problems I would ask your physician about using Epsom Salt. Use Epsom salts two to three times a week. Magnesium sulphate can help with cramps, will nourishment for the joints (as the magnesium is absorbed through the skin) and helps detoxify the body in general.
